David Sonneman

GIS Analyst

David Sonneman is a GIS Analyst with a deep-rooted passion for environmental education and data-driven decision-making.
Raised in Boise, he attended the University of Idaho completing a B.S. in Environmental Science. While attending he pursued studies in Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems, and groundwater hydrology. He was involved in several University research initiatives such as developing cost-effective water monitoring systems, developing cheat grass mitigation techniques, and monitoring the hydraulic properties of aquifers in northern Idaho.
Post-graduation, David has worked as a laboratory coordinator for a hemp processing facility in Oregon, as well as a lead data analyst for a global brand security company based in Idaho. Having recently moved to McCall Idaho, if he’s not glued to his computer, he’s probably running the trails with his dog Rex or paddle boarding on the Payette River.
