Anthony Morse III
GIS Application Manager

Tony Morse is a nationally recognized developer of Geographic Information Systems applications. He earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Massachusetts in an interdisciplinary program in Remote Sensing, and a Master of Science in the Remote Sending program at Colorado State University Department of Earth Resources. He served as Manager of the Geospatial Technology Section (1988 - 2009) at the Idaho Department of Water Resources before retiring from the State of Idaho last year. In this capacity Tony and his Section earned many recognitions such as being Co-Recipient, Environmental Water Resources Institute/ American Society of Civil Engineers “Best Paper of 2007.” He and his Section also won the 2009 Innovations in American Government Award from the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Institute.
Tony served as a Shift supervisor in a Remote Sensing unit in Thailand, and is a graduate of Armed Forces Air Intelligence Training Center, with a Top Secret security clearance.
